Call Me Teach

I've spent the past three days at a clients doing Final Cut Pro training for two fun students. Sometimes I forget how different Final Cut Pro is than most other software and how it can be a challenge for some people to pick up. Thankfully that was not a problem at all this week - they made my job easy and made me look pretty good by the end of the day today. Neither of them had touched Final Cut before and one of them had never done any video editing (the other had done a handful of projects in iMovie). They picked it up really well though and by the end of the day today they both had pretty much completed a project for their work, and had started creating a motion graphic open and close in Motion (we veered off the FCP beginners track a bit because they were doing so well).

I enjoy teaching what I know to others, but it is really exciting to see them move so fast and get excited over the possibilities of creation they now have at their finger tips. I can't wait to see more of their work in the future!
