Ball State Football

Last weekend I shot the Ball State football game against Temple from the sidelines. It was the first time I've shot college football - I had a great time! The weather was perfect... actually it was a little warm, but I'm not complaining. The stadium is very nice - Ball State should be very proud of the facility there. Unfortunately the game didn't go well for them. Ball State lost 42-0. Ouch.

My main camera was my D300 with the Nikon 200-400 VRII f/4 lens on a monopod. I also had a D60 with a Nikon 18-135 as a secondary camera for wider shots. My main purpose was to catch football action, so I shot almost exclusively with my D300 and that awesome lens. You can view some more of my photos from the game here.
