Seven - Focused

My main assignment at Indy was to photograph the rookies for the Fastest Rookie program. One of those rookies was the subject of today's photo - Pippa Mann. I'll admit, she was my favorite driver to shoot. Young, emotional, and extremely friendly, her expressions ran the gamut and made for more interesting photos.

This particular photo was taken as she prepared to go out for her first qualifying run. The intensity and focus of her eyes immediately grabbed me. I added a little glow to the photo everywhere but her face, to give it a bit of a dream-like quality, as it seemed to fit the situation.
