Posting Elsewhere

I've been posting a lot lately, unfortunately not on this site. Over the past couple weeks I've been writing some pretty detailed articles on using Aperture 3 as a video asset management application for the Indianapolis Final Cut Pro user group. If you're interested in digital video and are using a Mac, you should check it out. If you have a DSLR camera that also shoots video, you should absolutely check it out. Aperture 3 is a great application. It isn't without faults and shortcomings, but the benefits for your workflow and organization could be huge.

These articles - seven of them so far with one more to go - have taken a lot more time to write than I had originally planned. As I was working through my own workflow and incorporating Aperture in to it, I had to find a few solutions to problems that crept up. Some were solved, some still exist, but it took time to research and test, let alone to write about.

I should have some new recently completed work to share soon and a few other things I've been working on. Stay tuned!
